MISSION STATEMENT

NATHA (Neighbors Acting Together Helping All) is a community association with a youth-focused perspective. NATHA’s mission is to sustain our neighborhood center to continuously provide resources, support and opportunities that promote self-sufficiency and which enhances the individual capacities of our youth to advocate for and maintain a healthy, safe and vibrant community.

NATHA Centered in the Lincoln Village of northwest Pasadena California is nonprofit community based organization focused initiatives that support youth and community development.

WHO We Serve

CHILDREN & YOUTH

NATHA recognizes young people as valuable assets in the community who have critical importance at the forefront of change. NATHA offers young people the opportunity to find value in themselves—even in the face of personal disruption, poor-performing schools, and neighborhoods devoid of support. Through the development of quality relationships with peers and adults, we are providing youth with alternatives to unhealthy activities including internships and job opportunities. NATHA enhances skills and provides positive social support through the utilization of evidence-based curricula that encompasses different learning modalities. NATHA provides information on the harmful effects of substance abuse through research and peer-to-peer education.

NEIGHBORS & COMMUNITY PARTNERS

In recognition of our diverse community and the need for open dialogue, NATHA frequently hosts community meetings and events. NATHA’s community development programs build individual skills, encourage good health and nutrition habits, facilitate self-improvement, and organize community action. Other community development events include our annual Lincoln Village Festival and our National Night Out community gatherings.
